
Breathwork is one of the most accessible and powerful tools available to all of us, and requires nothing more than our breath. Learning to use our breath to heal and release can be a deep transformational experience that goes beyond the imaginable. Changing the breathing pattern can bring health to all levels, and the most beautiful part is that you are in full control of the experience. Breathwork has the power to shift long-held patterns, access deeper states of awareness, and create space for healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
In these sessions, you’ll be guided through Anima Integrative Breathwork, a practice that supports you to release stored tension and trauma, reconnect you to your emotional body, and open portals to clarity, insight, and presence.
During this 90 minute session, we will begin by exploring your intentions and needs, and look at the material that wants to be visited and transformed. Then we will move to the breathwork practice, which spans for 1 hour, and close with integration and sharing.
Anima Integrative Breathwork method is also incredibly effective in enhancing the psychedelic journey and serves as an excellent supportive practice for facilitators to introduce beforehand. By using this technique, you ensure physical, emotional, and mental readiness, fostering greater courage and engagement with the process. This particular practice involves practicing a continuous active breathing pattern to activate profound shifts in your physical, mental, and emotional state. Through this Breathwork, you will access altered states of consciousness, release emotional blockages, and gain deeper insights into yourself and your life's path. Anima's extensive experience and expertise in breathwork create a safe and supportive space for you to fully surrender to the breath and tap into your innate wisdom. You will be guided through the process with care and compassion, ensuring a transformative and enlightening experience.
We will also practice other techniques that help the process, such as nervous system regulation practices, voice work and bodywork. With nervous system regulation practices we release the unconscious material we brought to the surface with the conscious connected breath, and we restore health to our vagus nerve. This nerve is one of the longest of the body and provides a communication pathway between the brain and vital organs in the body. Various factors can negatively impact the vagal tone – a term used to describe how well the vagus nerve works.
Poor vagal tone can result from:
